Highlights

  • Trainee Login: Enables secure login in the VR app via username + 4-digit PIN; Trainees are managed directly in the Draxon LMS.
  • Trainee Progress Tracking: Tracks each trainee’s lesson progress when logged in (Not Started / In Progress / Finished), synced between the VR app and the LMS.
  • Station-based Rollout: Login functionality can be activated per customer station by Draxon Admins in the LMS.
  • Foundation for Observer Portal v2: Prepares the system for the Observer v2 feature that will be directly accessible via the Trainer Portal. Feature works regardless of customer network restrictions, allowing near real-time trainee observation with improved stability and automatic timeouts.

Trainee Login & Authentication

  • Introduces trainee login directly in the VR app.

  • Trainees log in using username + 4-digit PIN, both managed via the LMS.

  • Login button appears only on stations where Allow Authentication is enabled by a Draxon Admin.

  • An active internet connection is required to Login

  • Trainees stay logged in if the internet connection is lost and as long as the Draxon app stays opened.

Trainee Progress Tracking

  • Tracks lesson progress (Not Started / In Progress / Finished) per logged-in trainee .

  • Syncs automatically with the LMS and displays progress state in the VR main menu - both on the module and lesson level.

  • Fully offline-capable — training progress is saved and later uploaded when connected.

Observer Portal (v2)

  • Note: enabled in the backend only; becomes accessible for customers once the Trainer Portal is rolled out.

  • Near real-time observer feature, allowing trainers to observe the stream of trainees

  • Works seamlessly even under restricted customer network conditions.

  • Observer sessions auto-terminate after 2 minutes of inactivity to avoid motion sickness in trainees .

Further Changes relevant for customers/GTM 

  • Added a trainee’s online status in the main menu, displaying if the device is connected to the internet

  • Updated Dutch translations to the latest reviewed version in all lessons.

  • Changed the order of the Belt Loader modules in the main menu: Equipment 101, At the Aircraft, Loading/Unloading

  • Improved the design of the Help Menu for Dutch and Spanish

  • Changed GPU power cable color to a high-signal yellow color in all GPU lessons and consequently removed the requirement for the trainee to put down cones next to the power cable in the practical GPU lessons

  • Removed the two cones at the front and back of the GPU power cable in all lessons where the GPU was set up at the aircraft in the background

  • Added the handrails as new point of interest and failure case in the Towable Stairs Walkaround lesson
